TOUREST, THE MOST INFLUENCIAL TRAVEL TRADE FAIR IN THE BALTICS!                                      

TOUREST is the oldest travel trade fair in the Baltic countries that has been organized by the Estonian Travel & Tourism Association (ETFL) since 1991. It covers all the main travel segments, offering an efficient platform to meet face to face the travel-hungry consumers and the majority of the market’s travel trade professionals who make the purchase decisions. It’s the optimum environment to present your products at the start of the season.

The international travel trade fair TOUREST 2021, already the 30th in line, will NOT TAKE place on February 12-14, 2021. 

TOUREST 2020, organized already for the 29th time, gathered around 28 000 visitors, incl 3 000 travel trade professionals who had a great possibility to familiarize with the ca 500 exhibitors from 32 countries. On top of the hosting country Estonia there was present Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bulgarian, Canada, Cuba, Cyprus, Egypt, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Guatemala, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Nepal, Poland, Russia, Seychelles, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Tanzania, Tunisia, Turkey, the U.A.E., the U.S.A., Uzbekistan. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan being the newcomers.

Estonia is a growing market. 29 years of independence have not come close to satisfying the ever-growing motivation for travel and the need for exciting new destinations. In 2019 the number of visits to different countries abroad exceeded the population 3 times.

The exhibitors can use nearly 8000 m2 of the exhibition area of the Estonian Fairs exhibition centre, located on a picturesque shore of the Gulf of Finland, is divided into three exhibition halls.

“The Main Hall” accommodates Estonian and international tour operators, travel agencies, transportation and insurance companies, educational institutions, hotels, leisure companies, etc. A special “Global Village” area has been reserved for different international destinations.

“Travellers’ Club” seminar area offers an inspirational programme of different travel destinations. It has been definitely one of the highlights of Tourest as well as serves as a chance to enhance visibility as a destination.

"Travel ABC" is another seminar area in the Main Hall, where interesting topics connected to travelling will be discussed.

The hall “Visit Estonia!” hall organized in cooperation with Estonian Tourist Board lines up Estonian national tourism regions and attractions.

In the hall “Taste Estonia!” one finds a large selection of Estonian authentic food and cafeterias offered by Estonian Culinary Route. You could treat yourself during the long days of exhibition and buy presents for those back at home. On top of that, a colourful programme could be enjoyed on the main stage, with games and auctions. There are a special area and activities for kids.

Hosted Buyer Programme for selected TO’s of different countries gathered 57 participants from Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the Netherlands. The programme consists of guided tours in Tallinn, business lunches and dinners, a vivid B2B workshop with Estonian suppliers at Tourest and four post-tours: Northern-Estonian coastal area; South-Estonia concentrating on Tartu and Tartu area; the biggest island of Estonia, Saaremaa; Western-Coast resort town Pärnu. 
The Hosted Buyer Programme partners Estonian Travel and Tourism Association, Estonian Tourist Board, airBaltic, Visit Tallinn, Visit Tartu, Visit Pärnu, Visit Saaremaa and a long list of partners from the whole sector. 

For travel trade professionals, a specialised programme TourestPRO has been introduced, with an interesting programme on the first day of the fair.
